After working on the branding of the Port Metro Vancouver in 2008, it was time to give their dated educational space—their Interpretive Centre, a complete brand face-lift. We re-named it the Port Metro Vancouver Discovery Centre with the vision to create a welcoming place of learning and discovery on the vital role the port plays in our communities, province and national economy.
While many people believe that a serious injury won’t happen to them, the truth is that it happens a lot and has a huge human and economic impact. Our goal for this launch campaign then was to get people to recognize that not only can injuries happen to anyone, but that they can also be prevented.
Not only do we know the most serious injuries in the workplace happen to young workers, we also know that they will be the change for the future. Raise Your Hand empowers young workers to ask for help if they feel unsafe on the job.
